Coronavirus Preparedness

As numbers of the Coronavirus virus rises in UK, we all need to take extra care and protect ourselves against the COVID-19 virus.

Please read the general advice from World Health Organization, advice to the public and the basic protective measure to take against the coronavirus.  More from the recent BBC article.

Also, if you or close member of your family ( who you have been in close contact recently ) have recently return from any of the countries in the last 14 days, please avoid coming to a class for safety others.  The list of the countries as outlined by the Government can be found here.

This is what we are doing and taking precautions at Julia K Yoga

For every class you attend with Julia

  • Arrive early to give yourself time to wash your hands before you settle in and begin your practice
  • We will be finishing appx. 5 mins earlier to wipe all the blocks, mats, belts and anything else which has been used in the studio during the session
  • Bring your own pillow case to cover bolster or head rest pillow if planning using it
  • Bring your own blanket till further notice

continue to take an extra time for more breathing at the beginning of each class. I look forward to introduce you more breathing techniques in the next upcoming months to strengthen our nervous system which equals => strong immune system.
